Cody's New Toy

Well he finally did it! Cody has been looking at this truck for weeks. He has been juggling with being "green" and wanting a truck. He finally decided to go for it, I'm so happy for him. He always has so many projects and he is always loading stuff in my minivan from Home Depot, he really needed it. He is just like a kid at Christmas. He is really excited about it, not to mention how cute he looks in the drivers seat!

First Day of School

Well, we did it. Surf and Scout survived their first day of school! Not only did they survive, they absolutely loved it! They both started going to a new school this year and I was so nervous for them having to make new friends and get used to a new school. They did great. The only downside is that Surf came home with strep on Friday but is recovering nicely this weekend. They are both looking forward to Monday so they can see their new friends. I'm so relieved that they are happy about school and now liking it. We had a rough year last year. Here are some pictures of their first day and scout and his teacher.

Last Summer Trip

Well it's that time of year again, we start school on Tuesday. The kids and I took our good friends for one last trip to Breckenridge. We got to celebrate Kathy's birthday with her the day we left. We had a nice dinner at the brewery and ended the night with ice cream while we strolled down main street. We spent the next day relaxing at the pool and pizza for dinner. As usual we all had a great time together. Thanks for coming with us Max, Grace and Kathy!

Take me out to the ball game

Last night we took the boys to a Rockies game. Talk about unruly fans! They had a blast and they even got game balls! They were soooo excited! The Rockies even won!

Scout Unplugged

Tonight we were treated to a concert by Scout. Surf made and sold tickets for a dollar he was the manager-security guard. He checked our tickets and let us in to see the show. We were so surprised at how natural Scout is at being a rock star. He put on a great show watch the video and see for yourself. Rock on...

"Life is a Highway"

Last December we surprised the boys with tickets to Rascal Flatts (their favorite band). At last the long awaited day came. First we got to see Taylor Swift, who Scout secretly has a crush on. She was adorable and sounded great. Rascal Flatts did an amazing show and they played all of Surf and Scouts favorite songs. We had a very late night. Surf was excited to tell his friends he got to stay up past midnight.

Bummin' in Breck

A few weeks ago I took my cowboys to Breckenridge. We had such a fun and relaxing time together. The boys found a fun hike and enjoyed exploring in the mountains. We spent many hours splashing at the pool and soaking up the sun. Life is good...
